Specific features of Japanese approach to innovations
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of peculiarities of Japanese approach to innovation activity. Some traditional for Japan ways of knowledge acquiring are considered in the article, a problem of a parity between creativity and borrowing is mentioned. The role of the State and importance of constructing an institutional system providing perception of innovations is analyzed. The special attention is paid to such important direction of innovation policy as attracting foreign direct investments and participating in the international exchange of scientific experience. Also, current problems and prospects of innovation activity in Japan are assessed.
