Abstract
The article is devoted to the changes in the essence of the property relations, caused by development of the technological basis of economy, change of technological modes, transition to the information economy, and growing socialization of the economy. The author indicates the need of revising such concept as “form of ownership”, stressing that now we observe a transition from mono-subject to poly-subject ownership structure. In this regard the author introduces a concept of the distributed property for the case where the property rights are distributed between a number of parties interacting among themselves in the process of reproduction. Effective use of the property potential in these conditions is possible only at accurate fixing and specifying of property rights, belonging to the certain agents of economic activity.
