Transnational Corporations of Nordic Countries: Formation and Stages of Development
Abstract
The paper is devoted to the features of establishing of large-scale business in Nordic countries. The authors show that the specificity of economic and historical development of the region, as well as the dual business structure in the region essentially influence the development of Fenno-Scandic Multinationals. The analysis of positions of Nordic TNCs in the world ratings is given by means of Internationalization Index, Geographical Spread Index and Transnationality Index.
