University Economic Education: the Problems of Knowledge Perception
Abstract
Two-level model of education bachelor — master is currently introduced into the Russian system of university education. It is assumed that the style and methods of teaching should be changed. But the teaching process is twofold one in its essence. That means the necessity of changing both teachers and students. The paper presents some specific features of the university education, such as: a) small groups; b) self-education; c) a certain freedom both in lessons attendance and courses option. Some information about the system of control of students knowledge within the context of their attitude to education process is analyzed. The key idea of the paper is as follows: consumptive and parasitical attitude of students to the process of education should be totally changed. This is the task for both teachers (academics) and students. This problem cannot be solved quickly; therefore, the leading classical universities should be the pioneers in this process.
