Experience and Perspectives of Infrastructure Projects Financing in Russian Federation

Abstract

At recent time, the problem of infrastructure deterioration in Russia becomes evident. The problem also concerns the necessity of construction and development of new infrastructure objects. The article deals with the issues of infrastructure projects financing in the Russian Federation. A number of laws recently adopted and dedicated to different ways of support of such projects, including public-private partnership, are analyzed. Experience of projects realization in St. Petersburg is also considered. The article contains conclusions on infrastructure development projects in Russia based on research of the World Bank devoted to the problem of project financing in developing countries.
