Department of Political Economy of Leningrad State University in the Years of the Great Patriotic War and after
Abstract
The article considers the most tragic period in the Department of Political Economy life, namely the years of the Great Patriotic War. The author distinguishes three periods: working in the Leningrad under blockade; evacuation and working in the city of Saratov; return to Leningrad eased from the siege. The Department suffered enormous losses from unreasonable repressions against the professors in 1949.
