Russian School of the Economic Thought: Common Universal and Specific National Features
Abstract
The article analyzes some causes of emerging of national academic schools in economics and their peculiarities. The advisability of distinguishing of the Russian school of the national economy as an original and independent pole in the national and the world science is proved. Its content and major achievements are analyzed. The principal question is about the place and the role of the economic science in Russia: whether the world economic thought potential is sufficient for solving academic and practical tasks of economic transformation and development, or the Russian economists still face the problem of elaboration of special theory proving the present economic policy. The answer to the question is extremely important in the context of determining the economic vector of Russia, when choosing between the simulation of other countries experience and independence and search of the unique way of economic development.
