Reform of the Banking System of Tajikistan

Abstract

In this article, the necessity of reforms in the banking system of Tajikistan is considered. Due to certain circumstances, banking system of Tajikistan started to form later than in other countries of former Soviet Union, just after implementing the national currency. The way to development of national monetary system and increasing population loyalty to banks was not easy, and required realization of tough monetary policy and reforms of banking system.
