To the Problem of Forming on of Financial and Credit System of the Ancient Rus
Abstract
The article deals with the history of finance and credit policy of the prince’s rule of the Eastern Slavs and in the Ancient Russia (XI – XIII centuries) in the context of forming and further evolution of finance and credit system in the terms of transition from the late primitive society to the State. The light is shed on the following institutions: the tribute, the poludye (poll tax), and the credit. The role of the State credit in forming the revenue of the State treasury is shown.
