On Professional Standards of Insurance Intermediaries

Abstract

The article demonstrates poor professional competence of insurance intermediaries both in Russia and EU countries. This makes a real threat for the insurance market in whole. The problem can be solved by implementation of special certification system based on the professional standards for insurance intermediaries.
