Company Value as a Key Indicator of Business Performance
Abstract
The author analyses the value based approach to company management. In this connection, special attention is paid to different approaches to determination and different types of company value. The paper explains the interrelation between two approaches to company management: one based on increasing company value and one based on stable profit generation. In the result of the research the author formulates the main approaches to different value types depending on the objective of use and information base available.
