Sectoral Structure of Foreign Investments in the Russian Economy: Tendencies and Perspectives

Abstract

The article provides the analysis of main tendencies in the distribution of foreign investments by industries in the economy of Russia. When comparing with the sectoral structure of investments in general, the author comes to conclusion about several «attractors» of foreign investments in the Russian economy, and their balance is changing by time. The article observes preconditions to shifts in the foreign investments structure in favour of hitech sector of the Russian economy.
