International Experience of the Government Regulation of Insurance Activity
Abstract
The article deals with the problem of insurance market Government regulation in different countries of the world economy. The analysis figures out the reasons, goals and types of state intervention into the insurance activities. The author analyses the interrelation between the type of the Government policy and the structure of different national insurance markets and points out the significance of emerging Russian insurance market liberalization keeping in mind Russia's joining WTO.
