Forming the Regional High Tech Cluster: Kumi (South Korea)
Abstract
The article considers development of the largest Southern Korean electronic industrial complex in Kumi. An analytical method used in the article is the cluster approach that allows to carry out a full analysis of economic processes and relations. Special attention is paid to the most important elements of high tech cluster development: the State and large corporations. The role of the State is to carry out an efficient industrial and innovative policy and to create a necessary infrastructure.
