Abstract

The article devoted to the analysis of modern conditions of long wave research in the world science. Different and controversial approaches to the tracing of long wave phenomena are presented. The results of the last Long Wave Conference -NATO Advanced Research Workshop on Kondratieff Waves, Warfare and World Security are discussed. The article contains also the estimation of the main economic and geopolitical risks that could be found through the implementation of longwave theory to the investigation of postmodern global economy.
