Results and Prospects of Regional Integration in Latin America
Abstract
The article envisages history current state and future prospects of trade-economic alliances established in the region. Integration in Latin America is analysed not only taken, as it is, but rather within the context of various interconnected developments in international economic relations. Namely these developments are - pan-American integration, formation of trade-economic alliances in other regions of the world, and globalisation. The author argues that deliberately implemented co-ordination is needed in order to make all above-mentioned developments to complement each other.
