Mobile Business: Framework, Business Applications and Prospects
Abstract
Mobile business is a successor of electronic business and is defined as exchange of goods, services and information with the help of mobile devices. In the paper we present the framework and scope of mobile business. As opposite to consumer sphere, we focus on business side and state various types of mobile business applications that can potentially improve business operations and increase efficiency. Further we discuss the profitability analysis of mobile solutions and provide corresponding benefits and productivity gains. We also describe start-up and running costs connected with any mobile project. Finally, the description of mobile network technology and available mobile devices completes the paper.
