B.G. Serebryakov's Scientific Heritage and Development of Economic Theory
Abstract
This article is devoted to the biography analysis and main scientific results one of the great professors of Economic Faculty of Saint Petersburg State University, Boris Georgievich Serebryakov. His fruitful scientific activity took place in the 60s of the last century. Main stages of B.G. Serebryakov life and his most important publications are considered. Special attention is given to the analysis of his posthumous monograph «The Theory of economic balance» which was published in 1973. B.G. Serebryakov figured prominently in the development of mathematical modeling of economy and the most advanced economic theories propagation in our country.
