The Processes of Production Concentration in the Russian Industry: Estimation of its Level and Dynamics

Abstract

In the paper, dynamics of concentration process in the Russian industry during 1994-2003 is analyzed. The analysis is made on the base of shares of larger companies in the gross volume of industrial production. The usage of the new indicator, index of internal concentration, is proved.
