World Money: Theoretical Background and Principles

Abstract

The object of the research is the world monetary system, while the subject is the common currency for a group of countries. On the base of theoretical works analysis in the area (from classical political economy to the modern studies), the author summarizes four stages of investigations, as well approaches and reasons for and against the universal world currency. A conclusion on necessary and sufficient condition for the world currency circulation is made.
