Application of Inventory Control Models in the Modern Logistics Systems
Abstract
Cross-docking is one of the modern logistic systems. In this system, goods delivered to a warehouse by inbound trailers are immediately sorted out, reorganized and loaded into outbound trucks to customers. The article covers some issues of application of inventory control models in this system. eywords.
