Abstract
The article deals with the basic issues originated from food safety provision in the framework of national and global economy, with problems of safety of production and consumption of foodstuff, international standards and requirements in food production and consumption.
The interrelation and interdependency between economic and legal aspects of these problems are analyzed in the article.
