The History of National Economy of the Soviet Period: Problems of Teaching
Abstract
The Soviet period comprises an essential, immanent stage of the history of Russian economy. This dictates the need for unbiased scientific analysis of the facts, events and their consequences in teaching the economic history of Russia. The history of economy aims to reveal the objective laws of economic relationships, evolving in certain historical context. The article suggests the periodization of the socialist economy stages. The most significant problems of each of these stages requiring serious attention in teaching course of the history of economy are highlighted.
