Employment Determinants in the Concept of Post-industrial Society

Abstract

In the article, the employment (its qualitative and quantitative characteristics) is seen as one of the fundamental indicators of the economy transition towards the post-industrial stage of development. Based on the analysis of works of leading post-industrialism scientists, key determinants of the employment are classified (service sector growth; changes in production process; diffusion of knowledge) and their possible influence on the employment is described.
