Abstract

The article is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of birthday of the outstanding economist and Nobel Prize winner in economics V.V. Leontiev. The author gives the basic stages of his biography, analyzes the most important results of his scientific activity, mentions specificity and features of Leontiev’s conception in the field of macroeconomic model building.
